The Objective

African Bush Camps came to us with the challenge to deliver a campaign that focused on what experiencing their safari feels like, not just what it is. Our objective was to bring this to life through a new website and brand film.

The Insight

In a market increasingly saturated with choice, African Bush Camp were looking for an innovative and effective way of communicating their ethos and values to discerning travellers. By utilising beautiful full-width imagery, emotive content and useful information to clearly showcase the joys of safari, the website design immerses visitors in the world of African Bush Camps’ private safari tours. In addition to the website, we brought African Bush Camps’ offering to life further with an emotive brand video. 

The Advice

It was crucial that the video we delivered felt emotionally engaging for viewers. The connection with the local culture, people, animals and environment made up the core of the storyboard, ensuring that prospective site visitors felt engaged and united with the brand.

Our web team delivered a seamless UX design that catered to the target audience of African Bush Camps and kept the hero imagery at the forefront. We created bespoke, amendable tables to ease the extensive system of rate updates for African Bush Camps, along with custom icons, safari itinerary displays and interactive maps. The website design embodies a simple user journey and clear calls to action for consumers, yet there is a hidden dedicated Agents’ Portal for the corporate operations the website needed to fulfil. This had to allow for the creation of over 900 agent login details – each requiring access to different rate bands.

The Lasting Impression

The website went live and the film lives proudly on the homepage, beautifully capturing the DNA of the company – the people, the wildlife and the camps. It creates connections with new website visitors and is a valuable standalone asset for the African Bush Camp’s Sales and Marketing teams.
